Experienced cook for an Indian cuisine

Sponsorship available for right candidate *Experienced Indian Cook Required in our busy restaurant in Amaroo, ACT *About the role* We’re looking for an *Experienced Indian Cook* to join our busy kitchen. You’ll be responsible for preparing authentic Indian curries, tandoor items, breads, and daily specials for dine-in and takeaway. *Key Responsibilities:* - Cook a range of Indian dishes: curries, biryani, tandoor, naan, roti, starters - Prep ingredients, sauces, and spice mixes to maintain consistency - Manage stock, food safety, and kitchen hygiene - Work efficiently during peak service times - Help with menu prep and maintaining food quality standards *What we’re looking for:* - *Minimum 1year of experience as an Indian cook in a commercial kitchen - Strong knowledge of North Indian / South Indian / Tandoor cooking - Ability to work evenings, weekends & public holidays - Team player with good communication - Food Safety Certificate preferred *What we offer:* - Competitive hourly rate - Full-time / Part-time positions available - Friendly team environment - Staff meals - Ongoing hours for the right person *Job Type:* Full-time / Part-time *Location:* Amaroo, ACT Pay: $53,952.56 – $83,506.55 per year Benefits:
