A Series A AI startup that raised $100M+ in its first year is hiring its first Product Manager. They've built proprietary infrastructure from scratch — loan management systems, payment rails, and technology for analysing business bank transactions. That foundation powers what they're building now: an AI CFO agent that automates the entire financial stack for CPG brands.
As Founding PM, you own the product surface. That means deciding what the agent does, how it presents itself, which workflows it owns end-to-end, and how it learns from real use. You'll sit in calls with CPG founders and finance teams, watch them work, and translate what you learn into features. You'll sketch tool calls, review UI states, and ship light engineering and design tasks directly when speed matters.
This is not a Notion-and-Jira role. You'll be in the repo every day alongside a small, exceptionally technical team moving fast.
What they're looking for:Must-haves:
- 1–4 years PM experience, ideally at an early-stage startup
- Evidence of scrappy, high-slope work — shipped side projects, hackathon wins, a GitHub that proves you build things
- AI-native: you use Claude, Cursor, agent frameworks, or comparable tools every day
- High agency, highly communicative, systems-based thinker
- Based in NYC or genuinely ready to relocate — 5 days onsite, approximately 9am–8pm, no exceptions
Nice to haves:
- Technical background or CS/Engineering degree
- Familiarity with LLM tool calling, agent infrastructure, or Claude Code-style architecture
- Interest in CPG, lending, or small business finance
- Experience at a startup or founding-stage company
$175,000–$225,000 base + competitive equity Visa support available: H-1B transfers, O-1, OPT
This is a rare opportunity to own product at a well-funded AI startup from day one — with the infrastructure, the customers, and the data already in place.
