Overview As Journals Strategic Initiatives Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our STM journals. Working closely with the STM journals
leadership team, you will
- Lead and coordinate a range of strategic initiatives and projects underpinning the development and evolution of our STM journals portfolio.
- Ensure that goals and targets are achieved through your collegial approach to working with the publishing team and other departments.
- Deliver insights and analysis using your data skills to inform strategic planning and decision-making across the journals department.

- A track record of planning, organizing and executing strategic initiatives to time, along with a personal record of achieving goals and targets.
- Substantial experience in the journals industry, giving you a confident understanding of current trends, challenges and opportunities.
- Strong data skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency and ideally experience with Power BI, enabling you to manipulate, analyse and visualize data effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues across different functions.
