Job Description:

Trade Assistant at Wes TracPosition Overview: Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Trade Assistant will join our New Machines Team at our Guildford site on a full-time basis. The role involves assisting with the building and testing of the latest Caterpillar equipment, ensuring all machinery meets high standards of quality and performance. About the Department: The New Machines Department at Wes Trac specializes in providing advanced machinery solutions tailored to the mining industry's needs, focusing on innovation, reliability, and safety. Roster: Monday to Friday, 10.5 hours per day (including a meal break). Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with building and testing Caterpillar equipment, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members to manage and complete tasks efficiently.
• Promote and monitor safety standards diligently.
• Skills & Experience:
• Experience in a similar role or a Certificate II in a related field.
• Exposure to mining, construction, agriculture, or highway trucks; hire equipment experience is advantageous.
• Experience with CAT equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
• Adaptability to work with various machinery and new technologies.
• Attention to detail in assembling, testing, and maintaining equipment to ensure safety and performance.
