Team long-haul tractor-trailer drivers

Job Description/Duties of a Long-haul Truck (tractor-trailer) Driver: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, weighing over 4600 kg with 3 or more axles to transport goods and materials to destinations in the USA and Canada;Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading, and safety and security of cargo;Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes and cold storage. Perform emergency road-side repairs, obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes;Record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in log book or onboard computer;Communicate with dispatch and other drivers using citizens’ band (CB) radio, cellular telephone and onboard computer. May drive as part of two-person team or convoy; may transport hazardous products or dangerous goods.We are happy to support eligible candidates for AIP and PNP.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
