R&DEngineer- Verification and Validation. Tasks and responsibilities:- Translating requirements into verification plans and protocols while ensuring traceability
- Developing reproducible and maintainable verification test methods, test set-ups and tools
- Initiating and collaborating on standardization and uniformity of verification testing
- Performing and reporting verification and validation tests on medical devices along multiple moments in the product lifecycle
- Statistical sampling and evaluation of test results
- Write test reports and other technical documentation according to applicable standards and regulations
- Coordinating the work, tasks and progress of the development team
- Supports device and competition benchmarking efforts as well as ECF’s
- Establish and maintain contact with external test labs/ service providers
Preferred Skills and qualifications:- Technical Bachelor's degree in e.g. Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimal 3 years of industry experience in a comparable area of responsibility including solid understanding of design verification process
- Knowledge and experience with standards in Medical Devices
- Write and maintain test requirements from Customer level to System Level, decomposed into subsystems, modules, software levels
- Understanding of statistical methods, test method validation, design of experiments and use of Minitab;
- Broad knowledge of physics
- Broad knowledge of market available test equipment
- Excellent written and spoken of English language
- Well organized, goal oriented
- Ability to manage ambiguity, goal and conflicts in a team environment
- Quality mindset and comfortable with documentation; understands what objective evidence is
