Job Description:
Are you a GDC registered Dental Technician with a keen interest in Orthodontics? We have great opportunity to work in a busy hospital laboratory specialising in Orthodontics. We provide a technical service covering all aspects of orthodontics including CAD/CAM and 3D printing.

We can offer you an opportunity to gain experience working in a well-equipped specialist orthodontic laboratory. There will be opportunities to gain valuable training as well as continual professional development. We are a friendly team working closely with our clinicians to ensure the best patient care and experience. We have monthly department meetings to ensure we are all working towards the same goals.

UKVI Sponsorship: This role may be available for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route, as defined by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Sponsorship will be determined based on your current situation and on a case-by-case basis.

Construct a range of removable, fixed and functional orthodontic appliances

Use CAD/CAM software to manipulate digital images

Use 3D printers for model production

You have:
Degree or equivalent in Dental Technology

GDC registration at the time of appointment

A good understanding of orthodontic technology

The post is primarily located at Royal Bournemouth Hospital but the post holder may be required to work at Dorset County Hospital to cover holiday or sickness absence.

The post holder will be employed by Dorset County Hospital, as a part of the One Dorset Orthodontic service which includes Dorset County Hospital and Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
