ポジション概要 半導体工場や研究ラボで使用される金属汚染測定装置およびICP-MS用の自社製アクセサリ装置の導入、調整、保守対応を行う、フィールドサービスエンジニアを募集します。 装置の設置・分析から、クライアントとの技術的なやり取り、社内開発部門との連携まで、幅広い技術領域に携わるポジションです。
主な業務内容 ■ 装置のインストール・立ち上げ

• 顧客施設のユーティリティ準備や設置スペースに関する調整
• クリーンルーム環境での装置搬入・設置支援
• 装置のハードウェア／ソフトウェア設定
• 化学薬品を使用した装置洗浄・コンディショニング
• 各装置、各分析対象に応じた前処理条件、分析条件の検討・最適化
• ICP-MSを用いたサンプル測定および結果評価
• 社内外向け作業報告書や検収報告書など、必要書類の作成

■ メンテナンス・サポート業務

• 電話・メールでのリモート技術サポート対応
• 現地訪問による診断・修理・定期保守
• ログ解析やエラートレースを通じた問題解決
• サービスレポートやメンテナンス手順書の作成

■ 社内チームとの連携

• 顧客からのフィードバックを開発・製造部門へ共有
• 機能改善・新製品評価のためのデータ取得支援
• 社内ナレッジ共有や技術トレーニングへの参加

応募資格

• 工学・化学・物理学などの理工系学士号
• 分析機器・計測装置・半導体業界などに関する知識や経験
• 顧客とのコミュニケーションが苦にならない方、現場での作業に柔軟に対応できる方
• 出張（米国内）に対応可能な方（頻度：月1～3回、業務全体の約35%）

Benefits: Health and dental insurance, 401(k), annual PTO (16 days in the first year, increasing up to 27 days based on years of service) Position Overview We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, setup, and maintenance of wafer contamination analysis systems and proprietary ICP-MS accessory tools used in semiconductor fabs and research laboratories. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities—from hands-on equipment installation and sample analysis to customer communication and coordination with internal development teams.
Key Responsibilities System Installation & Commissioning

• Coordinate with clients regarding utility readiness and installation space
• Support cleanroom equipment move-in and setup
• Configure hardware and software systems
• Perform chemical cleaning and system conditioning using specialized reagents
• Optimize pretreatment and analysis conditions according to system and sample types
• Conduct sample measurements using ICP-MS and evaluate data
• Prepare reports for both internal and external use, including installation and acceptance documentation

Maintenance & Technical Support

• Provide technical support remotely via phone and email
• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance during on-site visits
• Analyze logs and trace errors to identify root causes
• Draft service reports and update maintenance documentation

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Relay customer feedback to development and manufacturing teams
• Assist with data collection for product evaluations and feature improvements
• Participate in internal knowledge sharing and training initiat

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field
• Knowledge or experience with analytical instruments, metrology tools, or the semiconductor industry
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in customer-facing, on-site environments
• Willingness to travel within the US (approximately 1–3 times per month, about 35% of working time)
• Japanese language proficiency is a plus, as we are a Japanese company
