Koo Chinese Academy (KooChinese.com ) has openings for Chinese Language Teachers to teach in our Total Immersion Chinese Summer Camp at our center in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. These are ready-to-hire jobs with the opportunity to convert to long-term employment.We specialize in teaching the Chinese language and cultures to K-12 students. • Teach Chinese Immersion Camp (Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm)
• Applicants can choose the weeks to work in the summer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Teach Mandarin Chinese language and cultures to school children in summer camp.
• Work with a team of teachers to design and develop curriculum and lesson plans for the Chinese Language classes and activities.
• Manage school children and their activities in the summer camp
• Communicate with students and their parents

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, can multi-task.
• Fluent and Expert Level in Mandarin Chinese
• Bachelor's degree or above
• A great team player and a faster learner with positive energy and enthusiasm in teaching.
• Loving, caring, and enjoying being with children
• Experienced in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in a classroom setting is a big Plus.
• A College degree in education and/or Language is a big Plus
