Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. As the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure that our guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will lead a team of staff members, manage inventory, and implement effective operational strategies to enhance the dining experience.
Duties- Manage a small team of 4 to 5 employees, ensuring efficient task delegation and smooth operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations by all staff to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Oversee the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas of the restaurant.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, promptly addressing complaints to enhance the dining experience and foster positive feedback.
- Ensure order accuracy and consistency, even during peak hours, to maintain service quality.
- Requisitions or purchases and examines foodstuffs from suppliers to ensure quality, plans menus, and monitors the quality of finished dishes
- Supervises and organizes and instructs kitchen staff and manages the whole restaurant
- Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat orders and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Maintain a clean and presentable restaurant at all times, ensuring the environment reflects high standards.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings with the floor team to communicate any unique game plans, special events, or evening objectives.
- Supervise special events (like birthday parties, Christmas parties, and other events) and promotions, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage stock control, ensuring all essential items are readily available to prevent service interruptions.
- Oversee social media management, promoting creativity, innovation, and campaigns to boost brand visibility and drive sales.
Requirements- Proven experience in a management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing operational tasks efficiently.
