SASH now has eight hospitals across Australia and is the country’s largest privately owned network of specialist veterinary hospitals. At SASH North Ryde, you’ll work in a truly collaborative, comprehensive referral centre with access to the collective experience and expertise of our national specialist network.
Our hospital is equipped with an in‑house laboratory and pathology services, 128‑slice CT, endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, 1.5T MRI, ultrasound, dialysis, a linear accelerator with stereotactic capability, and ultrasound dedicated to locoregional techniques. The hospital features six theatres supporting soft tissue, orthopaedic, interventional, neurological, ophthalmic, and cardiology services, as well as a state‑of‑the‑art ICU with six dedicated Criticalists providing support for our most complex cases.
You’ll work closely on site with specialist teams including surgery, medical and radiation oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, avian and exotics, emergency and critical care, and sports medicine and rehabilitation.

The Internal Medicine PositionWe are currently seeking two experienced and dedicated Internal Medicine Specialists to join our stable, well‑established team. This role is ideal for a specialist who enjoys a varied and challenging caseload and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You’ll have access to advanced diagnostics and therapies including dialysis and extracorporeal treatments, feline radioiodine, lithotripsy, and a fully equipped interventional suite—ensuring your patients receive the highest level of care.
To be considered, you will:

  • Be eligible for registration as a veterinarian in NSW
  • Hold specialist qualifications in Internal Medicine as an ACVIM or ECVIM Diplomate
