Controls Systems Engineer – Location: (Hybrid) New Orleans, LA Visa: US Citizen | Green Card/ TN / H1B-Visa
Summary We are seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to support instrumentation and control systems projects in a multidisciplinary engineering environment. The successful candidate will work under the general supervision of project lead engineers and contribute to multiple concurrent projects involving instrumentation, control systems, process equipment, and engineering documentation.
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 2–5 years of relevant instrumentation and control systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and controls standards.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and DCS equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• PLC/DCS programming experience.
• Experience with process instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience developing P&IDs, loop diagrams, control narratives, and instrumentation specifications.
