Qualifications - Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapist Assistant (required)
- Active Massachusetts PTA license in good standing
- Experience with Net Health preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Position Overview The
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall quality of life in a compassionate and professional setting.
Key Responsibilities Resident Care - Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve mobility, and promote healing.
- Provide skilled therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Implement and modify treatment plans as directed by the PT.
- Measure and document patient strength, balance, and functional progress.
- Monitor and report patient responses to therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to ensure optimal care outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
Training & Education - Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.
- Provide training and guidance to Restorative Nursing and care staff.
- Educate residents, caregivers, and community partners on therapy programs and exercises.
- Support PTA student development and educational programs.
- Maintain compliance with all required education, training, and competency standards.
