We're hiring for a Project Controls Manager to join a leading international contractor delivering a hyperscale data centre campus in Sydney, Australia.
You’ll work across programme, progress, productivity, cost and risk, providing senior project leadership with the information needed to make informed delivery decisions.
Australian visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, with relocation support provided.
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and manage baseline programmes, construction schedules and recovery plans, including procurement and commissioning.
• Track progress, productivity and milestones, identifying delays and impacts to the critical path.
• Manage schedule risks, float and recovery opportunities, working with delivery teams to keep the project on track.
• Forecast completion dates, labour requirements, budget outcomes and project risk.
• Produce weekly and monthly project controls reporting, including dashboards, progress curves, delay analysis and risk summaries.
• Work closely with project, engineering, commercial, planning and site teams, providing clear insight into project performance and emerging risks.

Key Requirements for Success:

• Proven experience in Project Controls, Planning, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or Site/Project Engineering within the data centre sector.
• Strong understanding of programme logic, sequencing, critical path and schedule management.
• Experience monitoring progress, productivity, milestones and project performance.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, delays and recovery opportunities.
• Experience producing weekly and monthly project reporting for senior project and client stakeholders.
• Strong practical understanding of construction operations and project delivery, ideally within a Tier 1/main contractor environment.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
