Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 12:00 AM) Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Packaging Manager to oversee and drive the success of our 2nd shift pharmaceutical packaging operations. This position is responsible for managing a team of skilled packaging operators and ensuring that all packaging processes comply with FDA, cGMP, OSHA, and internal quality standards.You will be the go-to leader for daily planning, production, troubleshooting, and training, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of bottle packaging lines within a solid oral dosage (OSD) manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 2nd shift packaging operations, ensuring product quality and timely execution of production schedules.
• Manage, train, and mentor Packaging Operators, Line Leads, and support staff.
• Oversee execution of packaging planning based on marketing requirements, staffing, and equipment capacity.
• Supervise batch packaging, validation, changeovers, cleaning, and documentation.
• Address deviations, implement CAPAs, and ensure all packaging activities follow cGMP and SOPs.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and hiring packaging staff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR to meet production goals.
• Ensure proper ERP system usage for packaging-related data entries.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality procedures.

Requirements:

• 5–8+ years of supervisory experience managing bottle packaging lines in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical setting.
• Solid oral dosage (OSD) manufacturing experience is a must.
• Proven experience managing and training teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, FDA regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience with interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with production planning systems and ERP tools.
• Previous work with high-speed bottling lines and serialization.
