Motor Mechanic

About the roleWe are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team. 482 Visa applicants welcome to apply. You will be responsible for performing service, repair work and thorough diagnosis of vehicles, while ensuring our customer requirements are met.Duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Carrying out vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Conducting logbook services and warranty repairs
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues
• Identify cause of irregular tyre wear
• Supervise and assist junior mechanics in their continual learning and development
• Order tyre and parts form suppliers as required

Skills and experience

• Trade Qualifications 3+ years' experience in a similar role is ideal. 3rd & 4th year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.
• Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to think laterally
• Multi-brand experience (Automotive)
• Energy to meet the demands of our environment and time restraints
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience with tyres - fitting and wheel alignment (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A valid manual driver's license
• You must be reliable, enthusiastic and possess good communication skills and have a stable work history.
• Possess exceptional organisational skills
• Strong eye for detail
• Valid working rights within Australia
