We're on the hunt for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant team in Palmerston North. If you have experience in pain management and/or concussion, we want to hear from you! About the role Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day. Pain Management Service (PMS)
  • Experience working in inter-disciplinary teams to support people living with persistent pain
  • Skilled in behaviour change, pacing strategies, and education in self-management
  • Understanding of biopsychosocial approaches

Concussion Service
  • Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
  • Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
  • Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team

What you’ll bring

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders
  • At least 2 years’ experience working within pain and concussion services
