About the OpportunityMozaik Mediterranean Taste is offering a structured Occupational Training Program under the Subclass 407 Visa pathway. This role is designed for a motivated individual who has foundational culinary knowledge but requires professional, supervised workplace experience to transition into a fully qualified Chef.The Training ProgramThis is not a standard employment role; it is a professional development program. You will work under the direct mentorship of our Head Chef to complete a structured training plan focusing on:

• Advanced Mediterranean Cuisine: Mastering specialized grill techniques, traditional dough preparation, and authentic sauce bases.
• Kitchen Leadership: Training in inventory management, food costings, and supplier relations.
• Compliance & Safety: Advanced application of HACCP food safety standards in a high-volume commercial environment.
• Menu Engineering: Assisting in the creation and testing of seasonal Mediterranean dishes.

Requirements

• Eligibility: Must meet Subclass 407 visa criteria (e.g., recent graduate or at least 12 months of relevant experience in the last 24 months).
• Education: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Language: Functional English skills (IELTS 4.5 or equivalent).
• Commitment: A strong desire to complete a 12-to-24-month structured training curriculum.
• Availability: Ability to work a full-time rotating roster, including weekends.
