About Augmedit
We develop AI-powered augmented reality software that transforms conventional 2D scans into interactive 3D holograms for use in neurosurgical planning and intraoperative guidance. Our CE-marked and FDA-cleared products are used in operating rooms across Europe and beyond. We are a fast-growing MedTech scale-up at the intersection of clinical practice, AI, and spatial computing.
The Role
We are looking for a Clinical Application Specialist who is comfortable in the operating room and enjoys working closely with surgeons. Your primary focus is enabling surgeons to successfully use Augmedit in clinical practice, through training, on-site support, and real-world workflow integration. You bring hands-on clinical experience, confidence with medical imaging software, and the ability to translate what you observe in the OR into clear product insights.
You will be the clinical face of Augmedit at existing customer sites: supporting surgeons during live use, delivering hands-on training, assisting with image segmentations for hologram generation, and ensuring our customers get maximum clinical value from their investment. Internally, you are a critical voice in product development translating what you observe in the OR into concrete feedback. This role is part of the Customer Engagement function, so you will be working closely with the sales team on new customer implementations, and collaborate daily with the Head of Clinical Engagement & Adoption, Head of Product, clinical research, and QA/RA.

- Deliver onboarding and hands-on training to surgeons and OR teams, ensuring confident use in daily clinical practice
- Support customers on-site during live use and early adoption, including in operating rooms and simulation settings
- Guide users in imaging and segmentation workflows to generate high-quality holograms from patient data
- Identify workflow challenges, support users in resolving them, and distinguish between training needs and product issues
- Support pre-sales demos and trials with clinical expertise
Feedback & product insight
- Capture feedback from clinical use and translate observations into clear input for product and engineering teams
- Identify patterns in user behavior and flag risks related to adoption or user experience
- Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, training, and product features
- Maintain structured records of key customer interactions and feedback
Validation & clinical testing
- Participate in structured usability studies, pilot evaluations, and R&D activities
- Support pre-release testing and clinical validation in real and simulated environments including phantom and mock-up setups
- Provide end-user perspective on new features and clinical workflows before release
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of Clinical Engagement & Adoption, Head of Product, engineering, UX, research, and QA/RA
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer engagement and onboarding processes
- Collaborate with RevOps on maintaining CRM records and customer engagement workflows in Salesforce
