Position: Restaurant ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)Salary: $65,000 per annum + superannuationLocation: Petersham, NSWAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a dedicated and capable Restaurant Manager to take charge of our day-to-day operations, allowing the business owner to step into a more strategic role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, managing staff, coordinating with the kitchen, and keeping everything running smoothly from open to close.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations across all service periods
- Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with chefs to manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen communication
- Lead training for new hires and ongoing development for current staff
- Conduct weekly stocktakes and assist in managing supplier relationships
- Monitor floor operations, shift transitions, and staff performance
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance across front-of-house
- Support scheduling, onboarding, and operational efficiency
- Help respond to customer feedback and implement service improvements
Work ScheduleThis full-time role includes approximately 38 hours per week across the following shifts:
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
