Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Bupa Fergusson Care Home in Upper Hutt, Wellington. This is a permanent, full-time night shift position, offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in aged care. In this role, you will be working four nights on and two nights off, with shifts running from 11:00pm to 7:00am. You will be responsible for overseeing the care and wellbeing of our residents during the night, providing clinical guidance, and confidently leading a team of caregivers to ensure high standards are maintained throughout your shift. We are looking for someone with proven experience in aged care, who is already InterRAI trained, and confident in making clinical decisions independently.   • Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
  • Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
  • Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.

Your Person-First Approach: You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
  • Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
  • Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
  • Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
