Waihi Health Centre is looking for an experienced GP Fellow to join the practice as GP Consultant. This is a new position with a 50/50 mix of patient facing sessions and clinical leadership over the entire clinical team; including GPs, NPs, nurses and ECPs.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP you will be vocationally registered and have leadership experience. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

This is a permanent position with negotiable hours, preferably between 8-10 sessions per week.

- Salary between $320k- $340k
- 5 weeks annual leave

- Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience
- Great communication skills
- Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
- Hold Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- 3+ years post Fellowship
- Leadership experience preferred
- Complete supervising overseas GPs
- Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
