Post Summary The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA) at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) is Ireland's national study on ageing. TILDA's interdisciplinary team, including epidemiologists, biostatisticians, economists, social scientists, biomedical engineers, and clinicians, conducts this extensive study and disseminates its findings. The role of the postdoctoral researcher is to lead on research and conduct advanced statistical analyses related to tackling the health and social care challenge of multimorbidity (the presence of two or more medical conditions) by characterising longitudinal multimorbidity trajectories; identifying disease combinations which impact on early mortality and quality-of-life and providing 20-year population representative projections for service planning and delivery.
