Ponderosa Lodge, located in Kamloops, B.C., has a Relief full-time Rehabilitation Assistant opening. This position is to provide coverage until approximately June 2026 or the return of the current incumbent. Days of work are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and shift times are 08:00-17:24.

About the position: Rehabilitation Assistants play a crucial part in carrying out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assisting therapists in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression. Operation within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of the rehabilitation team, you make a substantial contribution to the impact on progression of patient/resident needs and their rehabilitation journey.
Within this role, a Rehabilitation Assistant:

- Engages patients with regular therapeutic interventions.
- Has a huge impact on progression of patient needs and their rehab journey.
- Is an intrical member of the rehabilitation team.
- Is relied on to be the eyes and ears of the rehab team.

- Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, or an internationally educated therapist who has the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
