Venue Manager Bungalow Neighbourhood Social — Dunsborough, WA
Full time
Lead one of the Southwest's most loved venues — on the floor during the rush, in the office when it counts. About Us Bungalow is an outdoor, warehouse-style space set in a lush tropical garden in the beachside town of Dunsborough. We showcase the laid-back beach vibe of the Southwest with seriously good sourdough ferment pizza, natural wine, local beer and tropical spirits. The space channels a mid-century Californian beach house — mismatched furniture, breeze-block facades and greenery everywhere — with a nod to the road trippers and early surfers of the 70s who shaped the modern Southwest. Today's pioneers are the natural wine producers and small brewers putting it all on the line, and we pour their work proudly.
About the Role As Venue Manager you'll work directly with the directors to run the day-to-day operations of the venue, leading a team of duty managers and floor staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. - Recruit and build your team, particularly through the busy summer season
- Deliver rosters within budget in collaboration with the directors
- Manage existing procedures and workplace systems, prioritising customer experience and KPIs

- Confidently apply and enforce RSA and RGL obligations
About You - Recent experience in a bar/restaurant or venue management role
- Strong people management and team leadership skills, with a calm, firm and responsible manner
- A keen interest in natural wine, craft beer and cocktails, and the trends shaping them
- Initiative and drive to improve — you bring ideas, not just experience
- Availability across evenings, weekends and peak periods
- WA Approved Manager certification (or willingness to obtain)
