  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the U.S.
  • Active Massachusetts PT license in good standing.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy (required).

Position Overview The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for planning, evaluating, and delivering high-quality physical therapy interventions as prescribed by a physician. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance each resident’s mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Resident Care
  • Conduct physical therapy assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapy programs to improve strength, balance, and functional mobility.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), students, and support staff according to state and professional standards.
  • Identify when referrals to other disciplines are needed for comprehensive resident care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing records.
  • Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the care team.
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguard all patient health information.

Training & Education
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.
  • Provide training and education for Restorative Nursing and care staff.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and continued care.
  • Support PTA and PT student development and mentorship programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all required education, training, and competency programs.
