📌 Associate Risk Transfer Consultant | UK DB Pensions
We’re working with a Top 5 Risk Transfer Consultancies on an exciting opportunity for an Associate Risk Transfer Consultant to join their growing Risk Transfer team.
This is a great chance to be part of a high-performing team working on UK defined benefit pension risk transfer projects, helping Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers manage and reduce pension risk through transactions with the insurance market.
You’ll be involved in a mix of technical work, client delivery, and project coordination, supporting a wide range of interesting and varied projects across this fast-growing area of pensions consultancy.
🔍 What you’ll be doing:• Supporting multiple pension risk transfer projects • Preparing and reviewing actuarial calculations and advice • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams • Helping manage project delivery and timelines • Supporting post-transaction work and wider actuarial consulting • Getting involved in governance, propositions, and new business activity • Delivering client training sessions • Ensuring accuracy, audit trails, and strong attention to detail • Keeping up to date with pensions legislation and market developments
🎯 What we’re looking for: • Experience in DB pensions / pensions consulting / risk transfer • Progress through IFoA exams • Strong communication and organisational skills • Confident Excel and IT skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities • A proactive, collaborative mindset • Interest in building a career in pension risk transfer
