Job Title: Structured Cabling Project Manager

Overview: We’re hiring an experienced Structured Cabling Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects across data centres, commercial fit-outs, healthcare environments, and smart buildings throughout Singapore. This is a technical leadership role suited for someone who has grown from the tools and now leads delivery teams. You'll be responsible for managing structured cabling scopes across copper, fibre, rack deployment, and active hardware installations — ensuring everything is delivered to international standards and local Singapore compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Lead structured cabling projects from kickoff through to client handover
- Manage project resources including labour, equipment, schedules, and subcontractors
- Ensure cabling and infrastructure is installed per ISO/IEC 11801, TIA/EIA, and Singapore IMDA standards
- Track delivery milestones, manage budgets, and proactively address project risks
Technical Oversight
- Supervise the installation of copper (Cat5e/6/6a/7) and fibre (OM3/OM4/OS2/MTP) infrastructure
- Oversee cabinet builds, rack and stack, cable containment, patching, labelling, and equipment mounting
- Conduct or supervise Fluke DTX/DSX, OTDR, and OLTS testing and commissioning
- Coordinate integration of switches, PDUs, firewalls, servers, and smart technologies
Client & Commercial Management
- Act as the primary client contact throughout project lifecycle
- Produce all technical documentation including redline drawings, commissioning certificates, QA checklists, and handover packs
- Support invoicing, variation management, and financial forecasting
- Represent the company in site meetings, stakeholder calls, and post-project reviews

Required Qualifications & Experience
Technical Experience
- 5+ years of structured cabling or ICT project management experience
- Strong background in site delivery — from racking and patching to commissioning
- Experience managing teams and subcontractors in live or mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with Singaporean data centre, telecom, or smart building infrastructure preferred
Preferred Certifications & Additional Qualifications
- BICSI RCDD, CDCDP, or other structured cabling/data centre design certifications
- PMP® or PRINCE2® (PMP preferred in Singapore market)
- Fluke Networks Certified or Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for rack layouts and pathway designs
- ACMA-equivalent open registration (for international candidates) or hands-on structured cabling credentials
- Familiarity with Singapore IMDA/IDA cabling compliance frameworks
- Completion of WSQ-SG Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) courses for PMs or Supervisors
Additional Requirements
- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and site management skills
- Strong written documentation and stakeholder communication ability
- Willingness to travel regionally if required (Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong)
- Fluent in English (Mandarin or Malay is an advantage, not essential)
