Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant or hotel experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involes supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained and fostering a positive team environment to achieve operational excellence.Duties
  • Lead and supervise the restaurant or hotel team, including front-of-house and kitchen staff
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Manage food safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations
  • Coordinate food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and handle any complaints professionally
  • Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance appraisals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation at all times
  • Assist in developing menus or service offerings as needed, incorporating culinary expertise

Skills
  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Extensive culinary experience, including food preparation, cooking, and food presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with staff and customers alike
  • Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and culinary techniques
