Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate various farm machinery and tools. The Farm Worker will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of farm activities to support sustainable crop production. Duties

• Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment
• Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and infrastructure using hand tools and power tools
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
• Conduct general farm maintenance including repairing fences, clearing debris, and maintaining pathways
• Support heavy lifting tasks related to loading and unloading supplies or harvested crops
• Monitor crop health and report any pest or disease issues to supervisors
• Follow safety protocols during all farm activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture, irrigation, or farm maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with farm machinery and power tools are advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks
• Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
