Roles and Responsibilities:Main Responsibility: Maintain and facilitate current government contracts. You will be responsible for end-to-end management of SINSW contracts for all regions. This includes managing safety, workforce planning, compliance, scheduling, client reporting, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring contract KPIs are met or exceeded. You will play a key leadership role, driving high performance and continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Daily Operations: Execute tasks in accordance with contract requirements.
- Contract Coordination: Manage and track project tasks, deliverables, and progress.
- Administrative Support: Provide assistance to stakeholders and team members, handling project/Work Order related paperwork.
- Team Leadership & Workforce Planning: Manage and support field supervisors, tradesmen, apprentices and contractors.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep relevant stakeholders informed about project status and any issues that might affect client relations.
- Contract Review and reporting: Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff.
- Scheduling & WO management: Coordinate work orders, being able to prioritize the urgency and allocate effectively. Resolve issues and quires in timely manners. Escalate issue to teams, managers effectively.
- Contract Monitoring: Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
- Accounts Coordination: Coordinate with accounts receivable for the timely completion and closing of jobs.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform any additional tasks to support the team and ensure smooth contract flow.
- Problem Solving: Address and report issues to senior management promptly.
- Safety Monitoring: Ensure safety protocols are followed and monitor for any safety issues.
Skills and Experience Required:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, certificate III or IV in Electrical, HVAC, or relevant trade qualification or a similar field.
- Proven experience as a Contract/Project Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
- Cost control and ability to clearly instruct the team to stay within budget.
- Strong coordinating skills and soft skills.
- A "can-do" attitude with the ability to support team members and senior staff effectively.
- The capacity to work independently and take ownership of this role following the training and transition period.
