Senior Network Automation & Datacenter Operations Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ENTERPRISE DATACENTER NETWORKS in MULTI-VENDOR ENVIRONMENTS.
• Support SPINE-LEAF ARCHITECTURE, including configuration, administration, and lifecycle management.
• Administer and troubleshoot ARISTA SWITCHES, PALO ALTO FIREWALLS, CISCO ASA, RADIUS SERVERS, LOAD BALANCERS.
• Manage RETAIL NETWORKS and operate MERAKI SD-WAN environments for distributed locations.
• Design and implement NETWORK AUTOMATION using PYTHON, TERRAFORM, GANTRY, STACKSTORM, MERAKI APIs.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY and standardize processes.
• Integrate and manage MONITORING & OBSERVABILITY TOOLS (DATADOG, SIGNALFX) for proactive network visibility.
• Coordinate with THIRD-PARTY VENDORS, TAC TEAMS, ISPs and manage escalations to resolution.
• Develop and maintain TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION using CONFLUENCE.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in DATACENTER NETWORK OPERATIONS and NETWORK ROUTING (WAN TECHNOLOGIES).
• Hands-on expertise with NETWORK HARDWARE, FIREWALLS, AND SECURITY DEVICES.
• Proven experience with NETWORK AUTOMATION & ORCHESTRATION TOOLS.
• Experience supporting RETAIL NETWORKS AND SD-WAN (MERAKI) environments.
• Proficiency in PYTHON SCRIPTING, INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE (TERRAFORM).
• Strong knowledge of SPINE-LEAF ARCHITECTURE, NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING, AND PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION.
• Experience with MONITORING TOOLS (DATADOG, SIGNALFX).
• Excellent PROBLEM-SOLVING, ANALYTICAL, AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with CLOUD NETWORKING and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD PIPELINES FOR NETWORK AUTOMATION.
