Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Weld pipes as necessary to ensure secure connections.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for various tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) on a regular basis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
