About Vera Health Vera is the fastest-growing clinical app for healthcare professionals in the world. Five people built it. The Role We’re looking for former founders who’ve built something from nothing and want to do it again, alongside a high-output team already moving fast. You know what it means to wear every hat, operate with urgency, and push through ambiguity. You won’t be slotted into a rigid function. You’ll work directly with the founders to identify the highest-leverage problems and own them end to end. This is close to the experience of building from zero, but with hundreds of thousands of users and traction already there.
What You'll Do
  • Identify and own critical strategic initiatives across product, growth, partnerships, or operations
  • Move fast and make high-quality decisions, just like you did at your own company
  • Work directly with founders to shape Vera's trajectory as we scale from 5 to 50 people
  • Build and lead a team as your area of ownership grows
  • Bring founder-level intensity, creativity, and ownership to everything you touch


What We're Looking For
  • You've founded or co-founded a startup before (any stage, any outcome)
  • You have exceptional execution speed: you ship, you don't just strategize
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-changing environments
  • You have strong technical fluency (you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to speak the language)
  • You care deeply about healthcare, or building products that genuinely matter

Ship, then improve. We get things in front of users fast and let real feedback drive iteration. A feature in production teaches you more than a month of planning. Own it completely. There's no handoff culture here. You take a problem and see it through, from first principles to production. Always look out for the user. Every decision comes back to the clinician on the other end.   • Location: San Francisco (strongly preferred). For exceptional candidates, remote or relocation support (O-1A / H-1B sponsorship) available.
