OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished and results-driven
Operations Manager to lead the operational performance of our restaurant business. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in hospitality operations, capable of managing day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to foster a high-performing team culture across all areas of the business.
Duties- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring compliance with company policies and UK hospitality regulations
- Lead, train, and motivate both permanent and temporary staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage budgets, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring operations remain within financial targets
- Liaise with suppliers and delivery partners to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and logistics
- Collaborate with chefs to plan and update menus in line with seasonal trends and customer preferences
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution and service recovery
- Organise staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels across shifts
- Promote offers and update content on the company website and digital platforms regularly
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including stock control and operational reporting
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations, with all documentation properly recorded and archived
- Analyse operational performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on KPIs, operational challenges, and business opportunities
Requirements- Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position within a relevant industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
