Responsibilities: - Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment - Conduct inspections and tests to identify vehicle problems and recommend appropriate solutions - Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements - Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles - Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with heavy equipment and power toolsQualifications: - Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role - Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair instructions - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleaguesSkills: - Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred - Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as cranes or Caterpillar machinery is a plus- Ability to dig and excavate when necessary for certain repairs or maintenance tasksMust have an experience of 1 yearWill help in LMIA as wellNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
