Senior Horticultural Supervisor

About the Role Pasla Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Horticultural Supervisor to lead and oversee daily horticultural and orchard operations. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and practical experience operating agricultural and horticultural mobile plant and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, operating plant and equipment, and ensuring all horticultural activities are completed safely, efficiently and to industry standards. Key Responsibilities  Operate agricultural and horticultural mobile plant and machinery to: o Clear and cultivate land o Prepare crop-producing areas o Sow, fertilise, spray, and harvest crops  Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily horticultural and orchard activities  Supervise workers undertaking picking, pruning, thinning, and general crop maintenance  Ensure productivity, quality, and compliance with horticultural best practices  Provide daily leadership, task allocation, and workflow management  Deliver on-the-job training and mentoring to staff  Monitor health and safety compliance and promote safe work practices  Identify and resolve operational issues efficiently  Maintain equipment and report faults as required Skills and Experience Required  Minimum 2 years’ experience in horticultural or agricultural operations  Proven experience in a supervisory or senior role  Strong practical experience operating agricultural and horticultural machinery  Sound understanding of orchard and crop production processes  Excellent communication and leadership skills  Ability to manage teams and meet productivity targets  Strong problem-solving and organisational skills  Commitment to workplace health and safety  You may be requested to provide a clear drug and alcohol test What We Offer  Competitive pay rate with increases based on performance  Long-term employment stability  Supportive team environment  Visa support for the right candidate Please confirm your work experience and/or any relevant Qualifications at the time of application, or your application will not be considered.
