Title : SCADA Developer Location : Alexandria, VA (Onsite) Duration : 6 Months Visa Status : H1B/CITIZEN Relevant Experience (in Yrs): Detailed Job Description: We are seeking a SCADA Developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SCADA platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, or WinCC, along with knowledge of PLC systems, industrial communication protocols, and programming/scripting. The role requires hands-on configuration, development, and support of control system solutions for industrial and manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SCADA/HMI systems using platforms like Ignition, Wonderware, or WinCC.
• Integrate SCADA systems with PLC-based control systems and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
• Develop and maintain application logic using Python, C#, and SQL-based scripting.
• Configure and optimize databases such as SQL Server or MySQL to support data acquisition, reporting, and alarming.
• Collaborate with field engineers, plant operations, and IT teams for system integration and troubleshooting.
• Provide documentation, testing, and ongoing support for system deployments.
• Ensure cybersecurity and reliability of control system networks.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience designing and implementing SCADA systems
• Strong knowledge of Ignition, Wonderware, or WinCC platforms
• Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Familiarity with industrial protocols: Modbus, OPC, Profibus, etc.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C#
• SQL/MySQL database management and querying skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
