Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bricklayer to join our team. This is a critical role within the construction industry, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while working in a collaborative and safety-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and stones in accordance with specifications and blueprints.
• Construct walls, arches, and other structures using various masonry techniques.
• Mix mortar and other materials as required for specific projects.
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to complete projects.
• Perform repairs on existing masonry structures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience working on roofs is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• A valid driver's licence may be required for travel to job sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
