Full job descriptionVideographer / Video Production Specialist / Video Editor / Social Media Mgmt (On-site / Milpitas, CA)Our client, a Video Podcast Studio based out of Milpitas, CA, is looking for a Video Production Specialist (prep, film, post) using full studio equipment indoor for a demanding host.Qualifications:

• Experience: 1+ years of videographer experience in a studio environment
• Location: Milpitas, CA (On-site, NOT Remote)
• Shift: Late Afternoon / Evening Availability MUST (NOT a morning position)
• Hours: Anytime from 4pm to 9pm and Days: sometimes Weekdays, but Mostly Weekends depending on the host and the guest schedule; you’ll get a lot of days off every month, but needs to be highly flexible
• Expertise: Knowledge of video production equipment, including lighting, audio equipment, such as Blackmagic Design Pocket 6K Pro, Rode NTG4+, remote camera control on a 3-camera setting from the control room
• OPTIONAL: Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, Microsoft ClipChamp Filter Pastel Dreams replication to Adobe or DaVinci (Interview MUST question), TikTok, YouTube, Reels, Graphic Design for YouTube Thumbnails, video intro, convert long form videos to multiple shorts, Audio correction, TikTok effects, etc.
• Education: BS or MS degree in Film Production is a plus

Videographer Responsibilities:

• You will be filming monologues, in-person guest interviews, low-budget commercials, and virtual Zoom interviews in a studio setting using professional film equipment.

Video Editor Responsibilities (OPTIONAL):

• You will be professionally editing monologues, guest interviews, low-budget commercials, and virtual Zoom interviews shot using professional film equipment, etc. (20 mins to 3 hrs each)
• You will add an intro, sound effects, YouTube Thumbnails
• You will create a less than 5 minutes version of the long-form video with key points making sure the boss looks good in those clips
• You will create 2-3 short form videos for TikTok or Reels or Shorts (Vertical with native sound effects and graphics)

Benefits:

• Base Pay: $1,500 per month
• $50 Bonus per video session (2-3 hrs of filming plus prep); estimated $1000 per month
• If interested in editing, $30 Bonus per long-form video edit; estimated $500 per month
• If interested in editing, $10 Bonus per short-form video edit; estimated $500 per month
• Total compensation can be anywhere from $2,000 to $4,000 per month.
• Being AVAILABLE and FLEXIBLE is a BIG Plus for this position. If you already have a busy life and lots of other obligations, this will NOT work
