Job Description:
Role: ServiceNow ITSM Developer Location: Dallas, TX – Remote Type: Long term contract Exp: 12+ Years Rate: Open
Only H1B visa holder – PP number is mandatory
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with strong ITSM focus.
  • Strong JavaScript skills and understanding of ServiceNow scripting APIs (GlideRecord, Script Includes).
  • Experience with Flow Designer/Workflow, Service Catalog, and ITSM processes.
  • Working knowledge of ACLs, roles, data policies, and secure development patterns.
  • Experience building integrations (REST preferred) and troubleshooting interface issues.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and implement them cleanly.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with platform logs/debugging tools.


Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow certifications (one or more): CSA, CAD, ITSM Implementer
  • Experience with Service Portal/Employee Center, UI Builder, or Next Experience.
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, or IntegrationHub.



Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and develop ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, Service Catalog).
  • Build and maintain workflows/automations using Flow Designer and/or Workflow (as needed).
  • Develop and support Service Portal and/or Employee Center experiences (widgets, pages, catalog items).
  • Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and scheduled jobs.
  • Implement catalog items, record producers, approvals, and fulfillment processes.
  • Design and optimize CMDB data model, CI classes/relationships, and service mapping inputs as applicable.
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and inbound/outbound interfaces.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics indicators (if licensed/required).
  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and resolve defects; provide post-release support.
  • Follow SDLC processes including documentation, code reviews, and release management (update sets/app repo).
  • Ensure solution performance, security, and compliance with platform best practices (ACLs, roles, data separation).
  • Contribute to platform governance and technical standards.
