Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Summary:ITS THECHA, in partnership with Crowne Plaza Kingston Upon Thames and Ravens Ait Events Space, is seeking an accomplished and innovative Executive Chef with a proven track record in fine dining, 5-star hotel kitchens, and premium event catering.
The ideal candidate must possess exceptional expertise in Indian cuisine and the ability to deliver creative, high-quality menus for both à la carte dining and large-scale banqueting operations. This role requires strong leadership, culinary vision, and operational excellence to maintain the highest hospitality standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and lead all kitchen operations across Crowne Plaza Kingston and Ravens Ait Events Space.
  • Develop and execute authentic and contemporary Indian menus for fine dining, banqueting, and corporate catering.
  • Design and manage corporate F&B packages, including Day Delegate Rate (DDR) and event menus.
  • Plan and deliver large-scale weddings, conferences, and bespoke events, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate the culinary team to maintain 5-star standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP protocols.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Events, and F&B teams to create innovative, seasonal menus.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and supplier relationships to optimize profitability and quality.
  • Represent ITS THECHA and its partner venues through tastings, culinary showcases, and promotional events.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of culinary experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or Executive Chef role within fine dining or luxury hotels.
  • Expertise in Indian regional cuisine with a refined understanding of international guest expectations.
  • Strong experience in banqueting, corporate catering, and event production.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Culinary degree or recognized professional qualification preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site and high-volume kitchen operations efficiently.
