Full job descriptionWe are looking for an amazing individual with great energy, passion and a dedication to ensuring the guest receives and great experience, every time.We require energetic, happy people, people who actually care about and for people and understand the difference you can make every day.On top of this we require our leaders to both help shape out processes, but also follow them and hold other to account.Key ResponsibilitiesDuties include being responsible for the entire running of the cafe, including the coordination and overseeing of the different areas of the cafe.Works with other team members (including Head Chef, Sous Chef etc) in the performance of duties as set out below:Assisting with writing of rosters and shift planningWork along side and supervise all team members of a lower levelAble to perform & delegate all key duties of other positionsOn call for any emergenciesAccurately record sales and bankingInvestigate, explain & report on any discrepancies to the ownerRecruits, inducts, trains & exits employees in conjunction with the ownerControl COG’s expenditures through the development and use of effective par levelsControls COG’s through effective menu writing, costing and analysis.Control COE expenditures through effective rostering and running of shiftsMaintain stock control through recording & monitoring wastage, effective ordering/receiving and storage proceduresNegotiate with suppliers to gain the highest quality products at the best prices possibleTraining and ongoing development of all team membersEnforce daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of presentation, hygiene, service, product quality and securityEffectively discipline and praise staff as requiredPerform administrative duties (i.e. collecting invoices, recording offood safety requirements)Ensure all menu items are available throughout the entire trading dayEnsure the cleanliness of the store is in alignment with Food SafetyEnsure all promotional products are displayed and staff are informedWe want a high-performance culture.
