Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Duties

• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Oversee all aspects of food production, from menu planning to cooking and presentation, ensuring consistency in taste and quality.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams.
• In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
