What is this challenge about:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-performance solutions within the .NET ecosystem.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems.
- Design, develop, and manage robust data integration processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Define and promote software architecture standards, development best practices, and technical guidelines.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies across applications and databases.
- Support system enhancements, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Contribute to technical decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Extensive expertise in the .NET ecosystem and backend application development.
- Strong experience with SQL Server database administration, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Deep knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data integration solutions.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise-grade systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting complex application and database-related issues.
- Ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Living in Portugal (Remote role)
- Fluent level of English and Portuguese
