Responsibilities- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all staff adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
- Manage food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Qualifications- Proven experience in a culinary role, with a strong background in food production and cooking techniques.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
