About This Opportunity

We are currently seeking a distinguished academic to join our dynamic team as Professor in Management. This is a unique opportunity for a scholar with a strong international profile and an outstanding record of academic leadership, including the successful supervision of Higher Degree by Research students to completion.

You will join a vibrant discipline that spans diverse and impactful research and teaching areas, such as Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Responsible AI, Leadership, Business Ethics, Diversity and Inclusion, Indigenous Perspectives in Business, and more. With a growing emphasis on executive education and plans for a new advanced HR master's program, we offer a forward-thinking environment at the forefront of innovation and influence.

About You 

The Business School has a strategic priority focus in the areas of sustainability, responsible management, innovation and emerging technologies and we therefore particularly welcome applicants from the management field with expertise that speak to these and related areas.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an outstanding record of publishing in leading academic journals and demonstrated leadership through service to domestic or international academic associations, journals, and professional bodies.

They will also have a proven history of successfully securing competitive research grants and a strong teaching background at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, ideally including executive education. The candidate will be innovative in developing courses and programs across various Management disciplines and experienced in supervising honours and higher degree students to completion.

Finally, we are seeking individuals with a proven ability to collaborate with external partners to advance cooperative research and community engagement. A commitment to mentoring junior faculty, significant successful administrative/management experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills complete the profile of our ideal candidate.
