You'll be involved in collaborative efforts across different teams, making a meaningful difference. **Here is what you can expect from this role:** * Strategic planning: develop and implement effective sales strategies, leading important go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with our Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams * Optimisation & innovation: manage our inventory strategy, always looking for and embracing opportunities to improve our offerings in key categories * Work towards and exceed sales targets through customer acquisition, strategic growth, and excellent account management * Team Leadership: provide supportive sales leadership and coaching, helping to foster a motivated team that consistently achieves its goals * Improve efficiency: ensure our sales support function runs smoothly, making sure every commitment to our stores and sellers is met accurately * Be the primary point of contact for pro-seller issues, addressing challenges thoughtfully and efficiently * Build strong relationships with our Support Experience & Policy teams, ensuring our pro-seller service offering is well-aligned and our compliance needs are met **What you will bring to our team:** * Around 8+ years of experience in sales and business development management, ideally within eCommerce/Retail or Category management * A natural ability to coach and develop people, helping them reach their full potential * A skilled communicator who can build strong relationships, deliver engaging presentations with advanced negotiation abilities * Comfortable with analysing data, interpreting market research, and tracking consumer trends to make informed forecasts and strategic decisions * Go-to-market experience: significant, hands-on experience in leading successful go-to-market activities * Financial understanding: strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial performance You'll have the best time working at Trade Me, and this is why: **#Flexibility:** Flexibility means different things to different people and we support you to find what works, including a home office set up and utilities allowance.
