Book-keeper must work onsite- Must have Xero accounts and payroll experience. Self Employed Part time position of 1.5 days a weekThis is a position in a Small Nursing Home. Must have previous book- keeping xero accounts and payroll experience of at least 10 years and a good understanding of accountancy processes.Being organised and meeting deadlines.Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger processing to payment allocation.
- Reconciliation of customer, bank and petty cash accounts.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and occupancy level (including year end accruals)
- Payroll processing and Pensions & tax (50 staff on payroll)
- Timesheets calculations with contracts
- Liasing with both clients, HMRC, Nest Pensions and accountants.
- Invoicing suppliers & debtors and chasing them.
- Liasing with Directors & Manager as required
- Previous experience in a Nursing Home preferably
