Supply Distribution Manager – Fresh Vegetables & Produce Location:Auckland, New Zealand Employment Type:Full-Time, Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and highly organised Supply Distribution Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution of fresh vegetables and produce. This role is critical in ensuring efficient supply chain operations while maintaining product quality and timely delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end supply and distribution process for fresh vegetables and produce.
• Coordinate purchasing and supplier relationships to ensure consistent stock availability.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and minimise product wastage.
• Plan and oversee daily distribution schedules and delivery operations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements with growers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and health & safety requirements.
• Analyse sales forecasts and demand trends to optimise stock levels.
• Manage logistics providers, transport schedules, and distribution costs.
• Lead and supervise warehouse and distribution staff.
• Prepare reports on inventory performance, supply chain efficiency, and operational costs.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in supply chain management, distribution, logistics, or produce operations.
• Strong understanding of fresh produce handling and inventory management.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and distribution channels.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence preferred.
